Because of my extensive experience in persuasive design and creating landing pages to drive conversion, I got involved in the design of the marketing site for the new Google Apps launch. My work on designing funnels into which prospective customers could self-identify heavily influenced the final design of the site. Later, I contributed extensively to the copy that was tested as part of website optimization. The optimization process resulted in a significant conversion bump.
The final design of the Google Apps landing pages employed an audience-oriented design similar to this proof of concept mockup I created to help sell the idea. Since the launch of Google Apps, the architecture of the landing pages have changed their focus somewhat. But much of the work I did on the copy remains.
Contributed to the interface design and information architecture through several iterations; wrote the copy for a series of A/B tests to improve conversion; consulted on positioning and marketing; advocated the benefits of Google Apps in interviews.
