Google Apps Control Panel

Project Date: Q4 2006 - Q1 2007
The launch of Google Apps to enterprise organizations required a new control panel for administrators that could scale to the new set of services and features that Google had developed. This control panel allowed domain administrators to manage their account, users, permissions, and services.
The design of this control panel has successfully fulfilled its primary design goal: scale with the needs of Google Apps administrators over time, having served this purpose for over two years.
Role
Contributed to the interface design and information architecture through several iterations and usability tests; wrote XHTML/CSS using lightweight and accessible code; created a standards-based framework that separated content from presentation that enabled Google to roll out UI changes much faster; fixed a number of i18n bugs.
